the secretary and mom has gotta be some of my favorite characters in this story. like i genuinely couldn't really get a grasp on their dynamic with yoosung at first, and i'm actually really pleased to see how they turned out- especially the mom (like i like how she's been established from the beginning that she has no longlasting empathy or affection towards even her own kids, and can easily give up any previous affection towards her kids the moment they get in her way. and i like how that never really changes even when her relationship with her sons change into something beneficial towards her. and i think it's interesting how that seems to be in her nature, yet she still shows sympathy but no affection towards things that she feels to be on equal standing with her, such as her 2nd husband or her brother who died).
