The awakening of their abilities means they're getting closer to the "great war" with the evil spirit, and this is a conflict that has happened before, so they know what it's gonna be like, but not how it will end. For all they know, one of them (the guardians/people with abilities) could die. If they're mentioning war preparations, that means they expect the evil spirit to have his own army of monsters/demons/whatever, and that they will need to wage war against them. The rest of the people are happy because they've known this was inevitably approaching since Loina's awakening , but that only made them more imatiently anxious to see the awakening of the other two guardians, since they know they need 3, so the ML awakening means they now only need to worry about the awakening of one last guardian.

Lol so many people are confused
To my understanding, the reason why the awakened powers are a bad thing is because it means that the greater evil i coming ( the thing MC has been bring up since the beginning). And because ML has the powers it means he needs fight in the front line as MC had written in her novel. ML is crying because it means they have less time together right after the engagement. Everyone at the party is happy because with the awakens powers it almost guarantees their safety.
