Well, this wasn't all about yankees. I think I mixed it up with another manga, but the chicken is definitely this one.
It's about school delinquents/yankees, and one of the guys has a pompadour. There was also a part of the story where they're talking about a hen or rooster that was very fierce, and scratches people. Also, the manga is colored black and white. (≧∀≦)
