I totally agree. The art, plot and characters all fell kinda flat and mediocre— not enough to drop off the bat, but not enough to be at all impressionable. I feel like they were trying to go for an interesting like hate-to-love dynamic but I feel like even that wasn’t developed very well, and I’m not in the least bit invested in any of the characters, not even the main characters.

It's unfortunate cause this had some potential, but there weren't many if any exciting or tense parts. The only hard hitting part was when the esper found him and realised that he couldn't see. But honestly, add in a few wet eyes or something!

i feel like the concept of this story is very interesting but it just feels like it’s lacking some details like when he was locked up in the basement just went by so quick like literally in a few panels. This has so much potential but wasn’t developed properly.

yeah, it feels bland and flat. even them developing emotions for each other is also flat. i think they couldve worldbuild the world more, and also expand guides and espers, eg how did ppl become espers and guides, why are some compatible (like soulmates or whatev). wouldve liked if they made it from hate to love, instead of the esper outright loving him just bc he's compatible with him.
