I think from now on all manhwas that have the mc name ian and he’s a magician with a single parent and follows a prince, i’ll read them all. I encountered a plot with a blond magician too but he isn’t named ian or follows a prince, it had a potential but author ruined it by making mc a simp to a tsundere female that torments him and make them a justified couple

Yes that one. I know that trope is mostly in jp manga that has harem or the usual male x tsundere girl for the sake of fanservice and incels but I never expect the author is also a fan of them. If the author wasn’t like that, the story could have been great like the 8th Class Magician Ian or this one that looks promising

I hope I don't stumble upon this story.. I even dropped one manhwa where the dude was going under cover professor, but I think his destined gf is literally a student who is all btchy and rude. I don't understand the hype between tsundere or just straight up rude fl's, and worst of all, she's a STUDENT?? Bfrfr, that made me uncomfortable.
Is this a new trend?
The first manhwa with a mc that I've read with the name Ian Page(or Paige??) I forgot which manhwa.. but it was something along the lines of the 4th/3rd magician?? Not sure, but he's also turned back time, has blond hair, he's mom is single(also has blond hair), he's a goddamn magician, and also follows a prince who is also, guess what? BLOND.
Don't tell me this mc here is gonna date a princess too. I'm guessing it's that girl who is bedridden(well, idk if she's called a princess, but technically she can be considered as one.)
Anyways, my point is that after that manhwa gained popularity, the name Ian has somehow become a new genre where the mc is always a magician, with only a mom, follows a prince, and they r all blond.
