I wonder why this story is rated so low? Because it was I thought there might be something wrong but the story isn't bad it's a little sadder and might end tragically but it's not bad. All I can think is it's because everyone wants the girl to win the guy and for things to be happy not for her to actively avoid him and try to ruin her past relationship if she has to which I suspect she might have to if she keeps on her current path.

I read some comments and I guess the low ratings are potentially because their perceiving her as weak and stupid? Personally I think it takes a lot of inner strength to resist the one you love in order to save him and your kingdom. I mean that's nobel. Why hate on her for it?

Well then there's the comments about her friend but really she's basing her view point on the novel which showed she was the only one who stayed by her side and remained patient even when she was mistreated. Yeah some might wonder why but honestly it could have just been that she was her friend. Even villains have friends and yeah sometimes that's for personal reasons but a lot of those friends actually stayed by them unlike others. And in her first life I'm pretty sure she said she didn't have as many interactions with her after she got married. She does actually question in her head why her friend spoke like she did. But what seriously do you expect her to mistreat her friend? Why would she? And even now she is trying to give her friend the benefit of the doubt but agrees that it's wrong to hit. Personally I think readers shouldn't be so quick to think the friend is bad. Yeah the author is giving a slight vibe but she just might be jealous or upset over something. What I mean is the servants were wrong and and they did say bad things about her for her situation and even said they disliked her for it and assumed she was bad because of it. Makes sense she got slapped though it's wrong. Also even though it's implied she might have had other reasons for turning down the main character she said it was because people would judge her and she ended up being right. I'm also wondering if maybe her temper was jealousy over her getting close to someone else but yeah she may end up being bad but personally there's no proof and I would think less of the main character for judging her friend without proof and for not being a friend. I think she should listen and give her a chance which I'm willing to bet she will. ( When I say there's no proof I'm referring to her being someone bad beyond the slap for being angry about uncalled for comments).

The main girl is a good character. She is caring and pure in some ways. I don't dislike her personally. And I feel the deep sadness beneath the surface. She's just trying to figure out how to make best of What she's been given. And so she wants to make people happy. I like that. And she loves children and it seems she didn't have one in the previous life and she was a teacher before she was reincarnated so it makes sense she want to help children. It just shows she cares about her people and that's why it hurt so bad that maybe it was all her fault. Seeing them all get hurt and thinking it might have all been because of her. Why hate on her for that?

This heroine isn't vindictive or out to make it all hers she tried that before she now out to save her loved ones and her nation from destruction and honestly maybe it's that change that got her recognized by the god? Maybe the god decided to help because of what happened maybe she sent the little girl to help her well unless the little girl is the god or the previous holy maiden.

Honestly I like her and I hope the story ends happily and not the way she currently hopes. She deserves love as does the ml.
