Ignis the the spirit king of fire that the fl made contract with in the past and ignis actually loved her romantically so he wanted to become human and to do that he tried to swallow Leon, the fl's child but Leon's soul was too strong that he got swallowed instead and when the time turned back the other spirits tried to fill on ignis like role because his spirit went berserk.. (I think)
