Once, okay it’s just the story. twice, its coincidence im sure. Three times, okay now this is getting a bit weir- oh they’re kids again.
some recent moments that stood out to me was the zombie apocalypse scenario? i remember it had QX as a child tryna get WY to do something irredeemable (he didnt- oh my god thank god but yeesh he really wanted to). The cultivation arc was maybe slightly tamer but still; “wow this normal book about teaching my little disciple (very platonically) will surely be useful”
the fact that at the very start(?) when WY was part of the system/ not human and originally had this child + adult dynamic really does not help either (honestly maybe that could be the reason why but oooh that is not the hill I want to die on)
they turn into kids so often for the plot that atp it’s really hard not to notice it, especially with the romance and tension growing between these two yet deciding to turn them into kids for the next scenario anyways (unless you were actively tryna ignore it like i was ) . I remember praising and rereading this story a lot when it was still the first scenario but ahhh ahahah
still an interesting story and concept, just pretty questionable sometimes— i miss xiao rou orz
hHDJD help i just remembered how happy I was they both started as adults during the zombie apocalypse scenario- and did the heaviest sigh when a couple updates later, QX turns into a kid anyways to mask his identity
It's not just you- after the zombie apocalypse it hit me as well.
In the beginning it didn't bother me but when he was the Lord of the city it really made me feel icky. I'm talking about how the main character interactions with the kids version of the ML like how he has to "hold himself back" like he has the mentally of a adult but I'm starting to feel like he might like the kid version of the ML romantically. (Is it just me?)(●￣(ｴ)￣●)
