so my theory is that Itome in order to not appear clingy/ to be hated/ due to low self-esteem, thought that he didn't deserve Akemi to himself and thus told him that it was ok for him to still sleep around w/ other people while they dated.Looking at how Akemi reacted in the end though, maybe he didn't actually want an open relationship either and was hurt by Itome's suggestion. B/c if he realizes that Itome isn't sleeping around as much as he thought he was or as much as Akemi himself, he might start to wonder "wth was all of that for unless he really doesn't like me" ..i can't wait for their development
