I don't really see it as something unusual, imagine being someone whose ought to be a villain, with whom her family never loved her and for her destiny to be a disaster be save by someone who loved you and cared for you. Showing you love and empathy. Me to be loved like that, I would love them wholeheartedly

Thats weird af, you abandon romance and the love for your spouse only for your obsession. Imagine if you were in ML’s shoes.

if I were to be him, I would feel though as if I was just used by someone who does not have an ounce of love towards me. okay, I get it, but I don't see her love towards Emi is something unusual and it can be understandable. but she is disrespect if she is just gonna use a person to get what she wants.

honestly, i feel like Remilia's only thinking that way because she is an unreliable narrator. you can even see it when she first helped that little girl who was foraging with her father/grandfather. she said something like "i might have given a bit too much charity, but it's fine. it's for emi's sake." and if the spoiler is really true, based on how we're being built up with remilia's fixation on Emi, I think remilia's language of affection is just relating things to 'Emi'. She actually likes the ML (i'm assuming Angel??) but of course she loves Emi herself too. plus, Remilia's been living in Emi's mind for a long time now, so she only knows how to love Emi because she's connected to her; ntm on my girl Remilia, she's doing her best with her feelings

i havent seen the spoiler yet, so i'm really jut speaking on what's in my mind. but i do wish and hope that she loves the ml genuinely

I get that some people are uncomfortable with the ending with Remilia's marriage cause it would seem like she never had an ounce of liking for him(me too when I first found out about it, it was pretty messed up for me) but we kinda forget that this manga isnt the "fuwa fuwa" kind. Remilia's character is not built to be a kind person.

I do think she's going over the top with her "Haha i'm only being kind for the sake of revenge for my Emi" act. I think during the time she observed Emi that some of that kindness did rub on her. Like you said, she's an unreliable narrator and maybe she did like him but she's not that much of an unreliable narrator to not know that she is and will make pawns of the people around her, including male lead. Maybe it was convenient for her to marry him, who knows.

Honestly I don't think Remilia's the type to marry someone she doesn't have even the slightest affection for even for the sake of Emi but eh, will find out sooner or later. In the end despite all of this conspiracy and lies, she did become happy in the end with her husband and her kids so that's that.

Oh honey, Remilia is never a good person. Is she obsessed with Emi? Absolutely. That's the point of this story.

Also, she did not marry him to make Emi be reborn. In the first place, she didn't know if there's a safe way to make Emi become her baby. That's why she had another child before Emi.

No, she married Angel because that's what she thinks Emi deserves. She wants everyone's image of her Emi living the happy ever after that Emi should have. Again, nobody knows about Remilia, she wants everyone to think of her as Emi.

Does that make her a good person? LoL no. She's a villain for a reason.
