In chapter 11 (Flashlight), the characters go eat at a diner called the Father's Diner. Similarly, the characters in this story also go eat at the Father's Diner (chapter 4).

It also might just be a premade 3D asset with no connection to the other story whatsoever. A lot of webcomic artists use the same 3D assets.

If you pay close attention to a lot of webtoons you start to notice the backgrounds don’t look hand drawn because they’re actually premade assets. It makes the artist’s job easier to meet deadlines and spend that time to put more effort into characters.
I noticed the background where there are cute puppies or other animals doing different cute faces

Si, for exemple there's a building named "the Class", sometimes used as a hotel and sometimes as a residencial area, is in almost every bl manhwas :D That's how I noticed that they were using premade backgrounds called "assets" they buy online.
There's also a school/collège that's often used.
