It's not that he likes minhyung that way, he's just really naive and delusional to accept the reality of the fact that him and minhyung are never gonna have a normal brother bond. Even now, what they're doing, he still thinks that all of that are for minhyung's sake. The problem with the MC here is that he's got himself too attached and blame himself for what happened to minhyung that it became an advantage to minhyung himself.
Let's also not forget the fact that minhyung murdered the MC's partner, which was the sole reason for the MC to have an anxiety and abandonment issues. Honestly all that's happening right now is full deceiving and pure manipulation
