I used to read some of the side comics on Twt since the side comics didn't have a eng translation (that I know of)

when you think about how the whole reason Seth has such a softness toward cats was because of Anubis and their first cat
For those who don't know or haven't read the side comics, Anubis saved a little white kitty and named it Simba. In true dad fashion, Seth didn't want it yet he was the closest to the cat right after Anubis. The cat was heavily pampered and loved by the family, from its first batch of kittens to even its grandchildren.
Eventually, the cat passed away from old age and Seth was the one who gave it a proper peaceful send off in the sand :,)
