So the book FL read when young is not actually the original story. In the original story while Elincia is the protagonist, FL also doesn't have a bad ending. They all have a happily ever after. But a fan didn't like that. She felt FL didn't deserve it.
So the fan wrote a fanfiction of the original story which was the book FL read. The current Elincia is that fan transmigrated into Eleincia's body and yes she's evil.
This is also why I don't hate the Emperor as much. Because what he did to FL in the book (the fanfiction) was not what was gonna happen. In the actual story, the Emperor was quite good to the FL even after it is exposed she's not his daughter iirc. Or at least he didn't kill her off or anything.
So the fan is bitter that Philomel is treated good despite being a fake princess. More like that fan is just jealous I’m not sure if this is a good story plot but nevertheless at least it’s different from other cliche stories but for the author to think “a fan was jealous of the fake princess so they transmigrated themselves to make her suffer” is a huge plot twist, like it’s similar revelation of a demon king is gonna be resurrected when in reality it’s just a karen hates a book because the author didn’t go for the ending they want or I’m seeing a fanfiction reader so disappointed at the happy ending that they made it tragic but anyway
As for why FL break from this ‘flow of the story’ hopefully some god out there noticed there’s an anomaly and FL needs to get rid of the anomaly that doesn’t belong in their world because… bro that fan is just trespassing or worse plagiarizing an original story (this happened recently from a bsd writer where a random fan copied the entire story and just changed the ending)
Im only on ch 1 but i hate how the emperor is her father. Mf just execute her like shes an insect. Will this be the same like athy and claude relationship? If yes imma drop this. I will never forgive fathers like claude.
