They have grown so much and I love it! The way Matsuda was already aware that he was possibly having family issues tells me she's probably already aware of their relationship which makes me happy ~ and ofc we already know kanako knew since the prequel Challengers. The only one left is senpai's dad As we see, he's a tad dense so he probably hasn't figured it out (or maybe he has lol). I don't quite recall if his little brother Tomoe knows but kurokawa probably mentioned it to him. Senpai has grown so much and has welcomed Morinaga in his family with open arms which is beautiful considering Morinaga never had good family members he could turn to. We're starting to see senpai open up even more about his worries too just like we did during the time his house burned down. I think a big reason why senpai has not told his family is because it takes him time to be vulnerable. Beyond that, the author mentioned on twitter during a QnA that we may learn more about senpai 's potential previous relationships so I'm looking forward to that! I'm also looking forward to learning more about isogai and his one sided crush on kurokawa, as the author said we may seen more about it but couldn't make any promises. Either way, I'm excited to see how she goes about it. Now, regarding the final page, I think it could be inferred the Morinaga probably would have shared the same fate as his previous love Misaki. Meaning, he might've tried to cut his life short if he hadn't found senpai. Morinaga mentioned previously that he was more of a wild card when he was an undergrad in college (sleeping around, partying). In many ways, senpai saved him. Veryyyy long winded way of me saying I love this story and the direction it's taken. I love that there's so many more milestones for characters to reach. I'm 24 but this manga was made when I was just in elementary school so to see how much this author has cherished this story for nearly two decades is nothing short of incredible
