I mean in both cases author is just adapting the novel so I don't get the disappointment. Artists rarely get the chance to change something about source material. So I think it a little bit unfair to critique them for it.
It says the same author so I thought it was their story too. I didn’t know they just made the art... is it the same for "death is the only for villainess"? That's also not their story?

I honestly can't believe this is the same author of "Death is the only way for villainess". expected a better plot and more depth to the characters. But yeah I was a bit disappointed. It's not bad It's just... average :)
