Literally everyone seems to forget this. They say he’s crossing the line but ALL the Mc has to do is say the safe word/phrase. the difference between most of the toxic yaoi you've read and this one is that this couple has a safe word applicable anywhere. postponing using it for the first time shows only how important it is. right now wookyung is too scared of loosing this opportunity to even try. it looks almost as if he's forgotten that he can use it.
