and so it ends

Yeahhh.. try to keep a bird in a cage, the moment someone opens the cage he will fly out, doesn't matter who opens it...
I get why we are in this kind of situation, but it's on sol here, who the heck locks up people just because "they care about them" -_-
Sol knows Brian is not stupid and isn't trying to off himself, he plans and then acts accordingly, sol out of anybody should know.
So maybe he just didn't trust Brian enough, and he's just learned that's it's okay to trust him, too bad that the dude helped him understand Brian a bit too late.
See you in his next life i guess!

Sol is an overly controlling partner (probably partially because he's a dragon and he still struggles with those domineering parts of his personality). I think he would prefer to keep Brian in a safe little box even though he also loves the parts of Brian that are driven, ambitious, and vibrant. Though Brian also needs to learn that he isn't just an individual person anymore, he has support and he has a partner who he needs to consider before making decisions.

Indeed indeed, THOUGH... and maybe that's just me...
but if my actions could lead to prosperous exchanges between my nation and our neighbour's and i knew i was going to get hurt in the process but it would be nothing that can't be fixed thanks to my magic partner meaning it would have 0 consequences on the long term for my body?
Well i would still do it, no matter what my loved one thought or wanted.

Let's be honest, a whole nation's "fate" (which is built slowly step by step, but each step is as important as any other) vs some being who cares about me, i mean it's nice, but some opportunities are forever lost if we don't act at the right time AND if Brian didn't push himself to do this little power display, the manga hinted that things would have gone from bad to worst between the two nations AND there wasn't enough time to get sol if i understood correctly (if i'm wrong then Brian needs to learn to rely on sol more, though he already is relying a whole lot on him if i think about it; Brian's got them king maker's vibe!)

so in my opinion and thanks to his fantasy world, he gets to act all rashly like that but needless to say that in our world nothing can perfectly fix you if you get hurt so stay safe yall.

(I'm curious to see how yall view Brian in this specific context eheh)
