Honestly, you are so real for this. If the story is making you so unhappy, don't read it or come back when season 3 starts. The fact that they can't appreciate the wonderful world building and intrigue and dynamics between Brian, Sol, Lorkan, and the others characters because they're so anchored on FIRST BOY IAN is just ridiculous.

istg like what kind of a toddler mindset and self-hatred is this, I used to dislike eternal covenant way back in the time bec the plot was lost on me so what did I do then? STOP READING IT FOR A WHILE, just simple as that
it's not so hard I promise them, it's actually rather comforting to stop reading what you don't like
it's insanely frustrating when I finish an update and hop on the comments bec the plot is so thickening and I'd love to see different perspectives of it, only to get kids whining abt the same thing for a year
