Nah they’re valid you just don’t have the ability to sympathize with a characters emotions if you would try to understand why the character acts that way you would enjoy reading better in general. Being emotionally attached and integrated with a character makes it much better

Finally, enjoyment in reading is subjective, and there isn't a single universal way to find enjoyment in stories. Different readers have different preferences, and what works for one person might not work for another.
