I feel disappointed every time I read this. They could do soo sooo much with the pantheon setting and they make another generic story about imperial politics. Why is there even contention for the throne when Sol is literally an immortal god? Why are the “noble” deities more afraid of the queen than an all knowing omniscient ruler of the gods. Why is the all powerful adjudicator, the only one authorised to dole out punishments to the gods, being manipulated by said queen even though he knows she’s pulling the strings? He can literally read mins why not use that to punish her? Why is the omniscient Sol being fooled by his own queen who even went as far as to kill the lady he loves and he lets her be? Why is the queen even trying to create an unbalance in the realm of gods when that will also negatively affect her as well? Make it make sense. Anyone please!

My questions EXACTLY! I kept wondering all that and more. Also why is it that they keep egging on the adjudicator to be banished and everyone knows that it's the queen herself. He is literally the balance that is keeping everything all sunshine and rainbows where they are. Why are they all so fricken ignorant. Honestly, I thought it would be more better if the adjudicator to be emotionless when he is literally the heavens Judge, Jury and Executioner?

I dropped this because I honestly couldn’t deal with it anymore.
