They’re too childish, the last two outfits that he wore especially the one he wore in class is too frilly . If I saw someone grown wearing it in public wearin, I would assume they’re doing child-play or sth, I know why the mc is wearing it so I wouldn’t assume it. If I saw a child wearing it, I would assume it’s a special occasion, but the mc isn’t a child nor is he wearing it for a special occasion.

I understand where you’re coming from with a bday outfit, but cute aesthetic is not just for children. It’s especially popular in East Asia, you should look at some K-pop concepts and Japanese fashion. I get why you find it weird, it’s out of ordinary for sure, but tbh it only empathizes his personality and also pure naivety he has. And personally, I prefer unique fashion over boring fashion any day.
About headband, this one you’re just being picky with for no reason. A lot of people wear this kind of stuff, it’s cute. If it’s not your style, that’s fine, but to call that childish or weird is just a huge overstatement. Really makes no sense to be so put off by it. It’s quite normal.

It It’s just not the frills. It’s a combination of the other things like the mid thigh shots(I never really minded them), the collar that looks like something you put on a clown or a Victorian child, the bow tie and the hairstyle that doesn’t fit with it.

This aesthetic isn’t my personal style, but how I said it is a big thing in East Asia. It’s not considered to be smth exclusively for children. There’s so many groups with concepts with similar outfits. If it’s not your style that is completely okay, I’m just saying where it comes from, and the fact that it might not be smth normal in the West, but it is fairly normal there.
