I've been seeing less of it these days, but can't stand the amnesia trope. I'd hesitate to call it a plot device since 99% of the time it does nothing to move the story forward. Usually it's used to create artificial tension but that doesn't work because I know all their memories are magically going to come back in like 10-15 chapters. A pure waste of time
What do you consider to be the most common plot device in manga/manhwa/manhua that makes you wonder.. Just why? Or annoy you, confuse you, etc.
Like for instance, why did she trip from just one tiny rock that is 1/4 of her shoes?! Tell me how the hell does a full grown lady fall because of a rock on the perfectly fine road?! I would understand if it's a tree root or on a rocky path, but this is just a flat road and then a small rock just happened to be there for plot reason. ヽ(`Д´)ノ
