Question of the day

Can a knight become a noble? I rarely read story about knight so I have no idea. Let's say, they're a peasant birth but have an outstanding talent. I guess the emperor bestowed them a title. Starting from bottom to the highest rank

oh I've actually read something like this! (though I can't remember the title ) a knight was so powerful he was actually granted a noble rank, but the nobles shunned him cuz he doesn't have any noble blood in his veins.. so yeah, it's possible

From mlwhat I've read those are highly possible but never to main story, they always have a FL or something. That will be great and I'd love to read it. Since they story has to focus on the knight only ( and hope they don't make it harem with every character foolishly falling for them) with interesting side plots and the different ranks he attains

No. Unless the author is doing their own thing. In reality nobility is only through blood passed down from generation to generation.

I think it's the same with reality and manhwa. Where one can only become a noble if they gain great power and talent for them to be atricos. But this is of course very rare as it also need the support of the goverment or king for someone to gain nobility.

Those pure blood noble (¬_¬ ) can shut their mouth. If it weren't for their ancestors doing great deeds, their would have been born peasant too. Damn, even saving the empire isn't enough to become a noble, they're most likely getting rewards or backstabbing arc lolol "you're too powerful in this empire, we can no longer control you"
