Fiction or not, Rape should not be normalized. And I agree with this sentiments. I know this will not change anything from the story but the interpretation of the applied sexual violence and tolerating it is alarming. Redemption will not erase the fact that he was manipulated and forced to bear his rapist's child. If anyone's allowing it cos it's BL and fiction, then what if we will reverse the gender of the characters?? If we are uncomfortable when it happens to fictional women, then we should also disagree that it is happening to fictional men also.

I did mention reading backwards and did end up reading to the last rape scene (ch 54) and from ch 54 to present the “redemption arc” is not enough.
