Hey if you want to get it down to facts, then site your sources and statistics that it is the root cause of such instances. Sure, let's say writings and literature does have an impact to society and reality. But it's in the matter of how people consume it. Is that in the author's control? I do agree that they could've delivered their message in a much nicer way, and calling for someone to jump isn't acceptable at all. But at the very least, it gets across how strongly they feel about this. And if they'd just said something like "hey guys, incest isn't cool and I think media like this is harmful," I'm sure people would still be calling them sensitive and downvoting them to hell (that's what I've seen in other comment sections). So I intepret posts like this as "if I'm going down, I may as well go down with a fight."
