First off , I believe you should read it for yourself and determine what, in your opinion, is good or bad. Personally, I thought it was great , seme is a green flag. 2: S/A only occurs with evil individuals (there was no r*pe with seme, as far as I can recall). 3: the ending was a little strange, but overall, I believe you should try it out for yourself.

If you don't like reading things with SA as a consistent topic and trope, don't bother. None of it is between MC and ML but it's always there and is brought up a lot. With how long Pearl Boy is and how much it brings up and depicts all of the SA, it's borderline torture porn. Idk. I wasn't personally a big fan of it.

only the first season was good. after the second season, the writer of the manhwa l left so only the artist does the writing and the art alone, which resulted in the story going south. so much SA going on that you would start to think if the artist has some sort of grape/torture porn fetish. so i don’t really recommend it.

S/A never happen between ml and mc once tho, to not recommend something is like not giving that person the opportunity to make their mind up for themselves. Anyways, I'd still recommend you check it out for yourself, and see how it goes, though as that person said, when the artist took over, the quality of plot plummet

Let me correct myself, I do not recommend it if you cannot handle the themes of rape and torture. The scenes involving SA are drawn explicitly and can be very triggering even though it’s not between the MC and ML. Some of the scenes still involve the MC and some side characters. They’re hard to read. So please take the trigger warnings seriously if you want to give it a try. Personally, I don’t think such story is worth checking out if the content would just distress and traumatize you. In my opinion, it’s not like the story is a gem anyway so you are not missing out on anything big. There are a lot of better stories out there that deserves more attention.
