I’m truly glad i did :>> i guess i was just really stressed and was just in a bad place when i first red it. After taking some time to think it through, i do understand now that she was basically a stranger to them and the whole fam was also under a spell (i still fckin hate cliff id die just to rid him off this earth). ML is cute. I was honestly quite impressed since he took the initiative to defend her so many times now. I’m also impressed that it took him so fast to wake up, thinking logically and being wary of his brother and the blonde poop eating girl considering they were his life for most of his life. The fl didn’t improve whatsoever though which is truly unfortunate. I wanted her to atleast stop playing nice and polite to Cliff and the duke and start acting the way they were treating her. Don’t let my previous comment stop u from reading it, the story is pretty interesting tho cliché. It was a good read nontheless :>> ty for convincing me :>>>
BONUS RANT : Cliff got nerfed cause he aint the ML anymore LOL. He was honestly so smug i wanted to implant my fist inside his mouth or smth. I HATE THAT DUDE OMG IM HONESTLY GOING CRAZY
That cliff guy is honestly very confusing. I get it he's obsessed with the blonde and all. And wants ML to stay away from her. Then why the hell is he trying to kill the FL when it's clearly means ML is not going to be interested in blonde because of FL? And I get it he's under control of the Author. But, seriously! Doesn't this dude have common sense? Sometimes reading this story can be frustrating because of this stupid characters, but I'm still reading it because the art is so good. And FL is clearly more gorgeous than blonde
Ikr! I genuinely think that he’s a sicko even without the author’s manipulation because how he thinks is the way of thinking I could never understand. I honestly think he just enjoys seeing his younger brother tugged around by that blondie, gives him a sense of superiority bc w/o the blondie having him on a tight leash, he knew Killian has it in him to achieve far greater things unlike him who was spoon fed from the beginning just because he was older and thus made heir w/o doing any real work.
Well, he's the ML of the story in which our Edith transmigrated and according to what has been happening till now, the author of that book has a really strong hold onto him, so no he doesn't have common sense rn but maybe after the power of the author weakens more, he too can regain his own thinking just like others. Maybe hes trying to kill Edith because of the whispers he's listening like every character did or it could also be because rn his job is to make blondie happy and she can only be happy if the things (Edith) which are bothering her just go away. I can be wrong too, I'm just guessing!!
I really get how the FL is acting tho. She''s just really self aware and knows how her actions could be used against her if she were to act out. I see her being polite as more of a way to make sure she always has plausible deniability over anything weird happening, like as a means of her retaining control over the situation rather than actually trying to be nice to these people. She doesn't give two shits about these fuckers, she's just trying to save her own ass no matter what shit they pull.
Sweetheart I’m gonna hold your hands when I tell you this but he didn’t change til the end of the story and things were bad bad then like blondy was almost cheating on him bad. Oh and he always knew something was up with the green tea bitch. The boat incident he help her of his own free will because he knew she didn’t like Edith. Even the black lotus was surprised to hear this, (completely forgot her name so Inma call her out for what she is. )
I guess there was no hope for that Cliff from the beginning, what a waste of handsome face.

I knew it!!! There was smth rlly off abt him from the start. There wasn’t an ounce of kindness/humanity in him unlike the og fl whom i can kinda grasp. Things he does almost made him unreal, 3D even. He was off to get Edith from the start just bc he doesn’t want his younger brother to have smth he has ifyk what i mean or maybe cause he just genuinely hates her idk all i know is he sucks as a human
I’m currently at chapter 30 and it will also be the last chapter I’ll ever read from this manhwa. The ML is shitty as fuck and the FL is a legit martyr. Same shit keeps happening in a cycle and I’m honestly so fckin tired of it. I can not understand why she just didn’t yeet herself out of there after they keep blaming her for shit she didn’t even do. She was cornered with no friends or family not only once now, but thrice! In a span of 30 chapters, could u believe it????? She has her savings bruh, she could smuggle shit just to get the fuck out of there cause they obvsly weren’t ever gonna treat her right all because of her lineage. I came here for a witty villainess that actually serves, could be bubbly or cold idgaf i just want them to use their brains was it too much to ask for GOD
