I do agree that Sungyeon comes off as super manipulative and toxic in a way. His behavior is strange overall, despite the backstories that explain everything. After reading this like 4 times, I know that he didn't rape him. The story provides perspectives from both people involved; Sungyeon came on very strong, but Hosik's feelings were developing more slowly than his. It might seem like he forced himself on Hosik, but it wasn't rape.
