the way im reading this is that ryou was proposing to step up their relationship and take it further into dating after being a fwb. hence asahi said hes not into relationship that he can commit… ryou wasnt “proposing” to marry asahi frfr they literally cant legally get married there why would he even do so. so its not weird after 6 months of tgt acting like a couple, talking nicely to each other, walking home, yada yada then he wanted more is expected.. he thought asahi also in the same page and thats why hes confident enough with the ring hahahaha
