He made her life hell bc she was unaware of what he was going through… knowing full well she was kept in the dark by her father and that she felt both disgust and immense guilt when she found out what was being hidden from her… i really do not care abt how this man feels after his treatment caused her to try and take her life TWICE bc she couldn’t take being trapped with him anymore
