Yeah, I heard the romance is only going to be a subplot. And it's mostly towards the end. For now, they're going to be neutral
There's hints toward romance, but for the most part it continues to focus on the main plot and it's development. I wouldn't say to worry too much over it. From what I've read so far, it's much more implied and vague in terms of their relationship status. Not much change other than that they decide to be together with one another and they're unofficially married to eachother (put the ceremony off until the time is right and there wasn't war constantly being waged)
