dude yes i read this yrs ago and thought the ending was wholesome but nah its js lazy writing to end it like that
deadass and his only reason for going back to him at the end was because they had a huge past 2gethrr like boringggggg yawwwwwninggggg slopppppyyyy
though the ending was not idealistic, when you think about it it’s actually pretty realistic if you actually understood the story. i personally didn’t like the ending but i understand why that was their conclusion so i wouldn’t rlly call it lazy writing:/ if you remember, the author already foreshadowed their ending together and it’s what both the main character envisioned since like you said, they had a HUGE past together and i’m also pretty sure that their impact towards each other’s lives was also huge that’s why it’s the most realistic outcome for them the author did a great job writing the ending imo
