This is crasy that even in yuri we got only straight stereotype. I don't know if the writer is lesbian but I m pretty they're not. Their always masc energy and fem energy on both couples. Sex is about penetration only (in my opinion), like you can have sex without penetration in a thousand differents way (without cissors).
