i have a super love-hate relationship with this manga. one one hand the overall message of the manga is great and something that everyone should come to understand but the way it is presented is very problematic and i’m not a fan at all. i wish the author and/or characters would discuss or demean the incestous and pedophilic themes presented. the way they were presented wasn’t very well thought out. mr fahrenheit and his cousin were perfected as a tragic love story rather than the real story of a 14 year old victim to grooming and incest because we see it from his pov of romantisization despite his acknowledgment of his family thinking of him as a victim (which he is) he refused to believe so. jun just seemed to find his age and familial relationship to be the tragic part rather than him being blatantly predated on as jun was also a victim of pedophilia. idk i think the author could been more sensitive about these topics or not have included them at all.
