I see (=・ω・=) I think it'd be interesting to buy some of my favorite manga even though they'd be in Japanese. I hadn't thought about getting some I never read and then go check them online, that'd be nice too. do you have a list of books? that's awesome! like Japanese novels or light-novels? I think I'd be the same about money lol if I were to go without a plan, I'd probably overspend or be really confused and not get much of anything. I think I'd regret either outcome so I should be more organized ( ̄∇ ̄")

yes!! I think everything about Japan is kinda magical, almost like it is a place in another dimension (☆▽☆) maybe I'm glorifying it too much, I've never actually been there either. I watch anime subbed too! and it's awesome that you're learning the language, I've been studying it for some time but I'm not at all confident about it.

ohhhhhhhh SUGOI DAYO!!! seriously, that's awesome, I'm jealous! where will you be staying? did you learn Japanese at a young age? or are you currently studying it? omg, you'll be able to go to Ikebukuro and Akiba and all! I hope you really enjoy your stay, I feel like asking you a ton of questions but I don't want to pry ><"
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/be/u99579_50x50.jpg?2)
that's incredible!!! how long did you stay? do you have any favorite places? or any tips to getting around there? did anywhere disappoint? ohhh, I've been studying Japanese for some time, and I think it'd be fun to get some of my favorite titles in Japanese (●'◡'●)ノ since I've been trying to learn on my own, I'm always searching for people to practice it with. if you are ever interested, let me know! (=・ω・=)

The first time I went for 2 weeks. I traveled around kobe, kyoto, and osaka. Second time was 1 week. It is easy to get around, their public transport and a bit of walking can get you anywhere. I travelled using an offline google map (≧∀≦) i personally like kyoto.
I like it in japan, people are nice, tho I got a bit of culture shock initially (⌒▽⌒) majority of people there walk and cycle everywhere fast. They have these cute cars and trucks on the road that you won't see anywhere else ヾ(☆▽☆) And it is perfectly normal to eat outside alone.
I mean, in my country, we mostly drive and public transport is almost nonexistent, and it is almost considered pathetic to eat outside alone =__=|||
Sure, i don't mind practicing with you. My japanese is kind of rusty, I hope you don't mind ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

that's so good to know :) I've been planning a trip to Japan for a couple of years, and since the time is coming, my greatest fear is getting lost┗( T﹏T )┛ and I wasn't sure google maps would really help, but you reassured me a lot, so thanks :D I feel like I'll see cute stuff everywhere, I can't wait to check these cars and trucks you mentioned! do you think I can enjoy Kyoto in only two days? and oh! did you use cards like pitapa or icoca for the kansai region? or would you buy tickets on a daily basis? and eating outside alone is not that common here either lol!! also, I second you in regards of public transportation in my country ><" I've been watching some vids about commuting in Japan, and all stations seem massive!!!
ohh Light-san, arigatou ne!!! I'll follow you and maybe we can exchange a few broken Japanese words through messages lmao! I'm totally in a beginner's level, so it'd be really good for me. yoroshiku onegai shimasu! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

congratulations!!! this is great :3 LOL it's such a difficult language! do you take classes? and was it hard to get into Seinan Gakuin University? (if you don't feel like sharing, it's fine!) Fukuoka seems such a nice place to live, I feel so many slice-of-life vibes from looking at the pictures ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ do you already know people who live in Japan? I hope you make a lot of fujoshi friends in any case!

i don't remember the corndog taste haha i was very young... but i only remember the corndog. come visit korea! it's very nice!! (though right now...there's a lot of demonstrations happening because of corrupt politicians.....so maybe don't come now......) best time to visit korea is in autumn i think
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/7c/u190350_50x50.jpg?2)
Yes, there are lots of cute stuff in japanヾ(☆▽☆) there were too much to choose from XD i used icoca when i travelled, it is easier as you can use it for any public transport. You can buy the card from subway ticket machine at the airport, there will be helpers helping you navigate through the machine. It is easy to top up the card too ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I think foreign travellers could get a one day discount card at the airport but i'm not sure.
Well, you can enjoy kyoto in 2 days, but if you want to visit everywhere, it will be a bit rushed (⌒▽⌒)
I look forward to hearing from you too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Yoroshiku onegai shimasu

lol we retain the weirdest memories sometimes, but that's fun (≧∀≦) and thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely remember that when planning the trip. it might take a while tho lol I'm going to Japan later this month after saving up for like 2 years, so maybe I'll visit Korea in 3 years or so? ( ̄∇ ̄") hopefully I can get a raise or something in the meantime (/TДT)/
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/be/u99579_50x50.jpg?2)
lmao Ikr!! I'm getting crazy with the amount of smart cards and passes and all! oh, so does icoca work for non JR lines too? previously, I thought I'd buy the JR Pass for foreigners, but it's not worth it in my case. I mean, the shinkansen which my friend and I will take isn't covered by the JR Pass. we are calculating the fares on HyperDia, but a smart card like that would be a life saver! I don't want to spend time buying tickets everytime we need to go somewhere (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜so it's great to know icoca works well, thank you again! we will probably get icoca for the kansai region and pasmo for the kanto one.
our first week is in Osaka, so we spared two days for Kyoto, one for Hiroshima and three for Osaka itself. I know Kyoto has a lot to see, so I hope we don't miss out much. would you mind telling what was your favorite Shinto shrine there?
waaaa I can't hold back and wrote a lot, gomennasai!
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/7c/u190350_50x50.jpg?2)
Yes, it works for non JR lines too ლ(´ڡ`ლ) so it is easier to get around using icoca. Tho i'm not sure if it covers shinkansen or not. A shinto shrine that i visited was Fushimi Inari Taisha. You can get there by train. The station is exactly in front of the shrine. When i visited last time, there was some sort of ritual going on, i'm not sure what. It was beautiful. You get to see miko and all (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
There were food stalls and souvenir shops nearby the shrine. I bought an umbrella with katana hilt (≧∀≦) There is a cat cafe nearby too.
A famous buddhist temple would be Kiyomozu-dera. It is really huge. On the way there, you can visit Gion Street. By luck, you get to see geiko walking on the street. Here, there are a lot of shopping you can do here. If you look at the map, next to Kiyomozu-dera, there are Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka. These are shopping street, you can buy a lot of cute things here too ヾ(☆▽☆) there was a japanese pottery shop. You can make your own pottery too.
And then, there is Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. And there is Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavilion. Everywhere is really beautiful. All these are in Kyoto XD
Sorry for the long reply. I got excited remembering my memory there XD
have you ever traveled to Japan? did you make a list with all the titles you wanted to get? did you overspend your yaoi budget? or would you rather buy manga in your own country/online?
