That’s the thing the plot could’ve been better without the SA. They’re completely valid for not liking the story because of it.
The rape and sexual assault will literally never relevant or necessary for the plot. Yes, zhenya is a “psychopath,” he might as well do “psychopathic” things, but considering how we all know they’re going to end up together regardless I don’t see the point in it. It feels fetishy or seemingly suppose to arouse the reader that the mc is literally getting Raped against his will. That’s not cute. You can include dark/sensitive topics like this wherever you please, but at least try not to sexualize or romanticize it.
No offense to the haters, but they focus too much on the gRape and SA, literally ignoring how good the plot is. Plot was bombed, author is so smart for making this. (Zhenya is like Oppenheimer but psycophant)
