Omg even I've always thought that. With this kinda trope,it feels like the ml treats the present fl as a replacement/standin for her past self. Only time where I feel this trope was done well, was in inuyasha ,inuyasha loved kagome coz she was kagome not coz she was kikiyos reincarnation. But in this manga, its most likely that she'll gain her past memories and with that, seina of the past and seina of the present ,will effectively become the same person
This is cute for sure and the art *chef’s kiss*. But I have a love hate relationship with a reincarnation trope. It makes me skeptical, pessimistic, and overthink on things. For me, it boils down to the question of does the ML love her because of the Seina of the past or because of what she is in the present? Is she even the same person?! What if the Seina from the past appears, who will he choose?! Gaaaahhh!!! Anyway, i’ll just wait lol
