touma took advantage of her vulnerability knowing she wasn’t healed with what happened between her and kou, as well as pressing her in a tight spot even after she said no the first time. and then narumi made kou relapse back into his negative headspace, using her own trauma to try and win kou over knowing he’s been through something similar
oh i wasnt asking about narumi, mb i shouldve clarified.
but now you'll have to elaborate further w touma bec i truly dont think the weight of his actions are comparable to narumis. and in general, considering the place of origin, the year this came out, and shoujo manga themselves, was it really that srs? (insert emoji idk im on my pc) i was under the impression that no secondary love interest gave the lead enough time in romance manga lawlll
but idk im prob missing smth cuz i am so pro-touma guhhh i absolutely loved every scene w him and i 100% agree w him calling out kou for his half-heartedness. kou unintentionally dangling their history over futabas head to remain close to her without making anything clear is just as bad as your arguments against touma (imo). but i dont hate kou, even though i find more of his behaviour un-tasteful in comparison to toumas, i literally cant bring myself to blame him when none of it is as serious and evil as ppl make it out to be, they are literally dumbass boys in a 2000s shoujo manga where most charas r emotionally stupid.
i shouldn't have probably said that its not that deep. My bad. I meant for touma. In reality tho what he did was normal, like he clearly new mc likes someone else but still tried to court her. Thats what you call a rebounding and he was willing to do it, hoping that maybe she would like him in the end.
Isnt it common to younger people who's willing to be a rebound or court someone even if they like someone else?? At least here where i live its common for teens lol
okay :3 i do not think they’re comparable in any form, i just put it together in one sentence w/o much thought behind it lolol..my fault genuinely. tbh i dont think those factors really matter when you don’t like a character, origin, year, etc, if you don’t like a character you js don’t like them..i’m sure you have characters you don’t really enjoy personally but maybe you don’t and that’s fine too.
yeah no i get it and i don’t think there’s anything wrong with actually liking touma sorry if my comment did come off that way i just troll sometimes and look for arguments when im bored trying 2 work on that now….but yeah no i dont agree with what kou did either, the way he went about things made me eerghhh but then again we obviously perceive both characters differently. i do not like touma though, his persistence into the relationship was icky. she did say no the first time, and he continued. it was also really depressing to see her lose herself while trying to appeal to him :,), at one point his actions didn’t really seem in genuine interest but moreover trying to beat kou etc, but that’s just how i view it as. kou did do a lot of annoying things back and his trauma doesn’t justify the way he did treat her although it does absolutely explain why he went about things. i dunno x2 im not defending him here erm pls dont take my words as so im solely explaining why i dont like touma but i can also explain why i have a yellow view on kou Ok thank u if u read this LOLOL
I dont hate touma. He just did what he could to get the girl, well he at least tried.. I mean kou did the same anyway courting someone who has a boyfriend.
