I have a thought that maybe he tried taking his life cuz of the scar on his neck

i had a thought for a while now that there's a possibility that at one of the regression turns ML became a zombie himself and MC(or someone else maybe) cut his head off, because like...there was that one moment when ML said to MC that the only way to kill a zombie is to smash/chop their head off OR burn them to ashes..............and, well, the MC once mentioned that the scar "looks like his head was almost cut off" or smth like that...so yeah...(sorry, i just like pain and couldn't resist the urge to share this pain w/ someone^^)
