Baby will make it out of this

Considering she was a scorned child and the abusive bastard had more than one child, the tutor probably doesn't know- or want to know about the 'enemy' nation. Not trying to defend him, just trying to find logic.
Because my real question is how the guy got past the two (Duke and Duchess) when his disposition changed this much. They might have perceived the shock of hearing of princess's identity as general shock considering they hid her identity. BUT why even tell him of her position? Knowing that she is a prisoner of war of a defeated nation will only be of concern if she brought it up herself. But the way they (Duke and Duchess) treat her is irrelevant of that fact.
Where's the background check, the guarantors, etc. Considering there is a trial period of three days, a lot of damage can happen- knowing this story, he'll likely come around. But I don't actually want that to be the case, because this story features the family of three. Our child protagonist came out well-rounded. I hope there is enough development or he comes out as irredeemable. Most other child rofan series come out too fluffy because the world ends up revolving around a character.
