There are more games similar to this one than genshin I think. Genshin doesn't have things like jobs either or making your own character from the start and much more, kind of a big difference I would say.
Ragnarok Origin Online is a really similar game. It has jobs, guilds, events, character customization, and a update for marriage is coming up soon. Really similar to this game, also if you want to make friends then try to be a little more social, people will not go to you (most of the time).

The game they're playing is an mmo, so any mmo game will be similar in structure. My personal favorite mmo is guild wars 2, but you should do some research on the genre and find one that interests you most
Personally I prefer to play the global version I don't know if the other one is better or not.
I wonder if there's a game like this it would be interesting (lm looking for games like this give me some recommendations)
