"From a country like a lion" is about japanese high schooler having an African foreign exchange student live at his house and then they fall in love. The romance feels kinda rushed because they fall in love because they find one another attractive and almost immediately try to have sex with one another but the real romance comes from the sneak peeks of devotion and commitment the two hold for one another.
"Just when I thought I came here to die" a one shot about a guy who tries to kill himself but then gets saved and falls in love with a serial killer. It's short and sweet and a good read.
