Wait, so you're telling me they cut a lot of scenes here?! I don't read the Ni Jiu one because I can't stand reading chapters filled with watermarks and trash translations so I thought this was just the better one.
Yep. There are some scenes that the officials cut maybe because they don't seem important, but imo, the pacing makes this story more enjoyable.
The officials give us clean scans, but it's sad that they cut out so many parts that give this story its charm.
The little instances where ML learns something new about our MC shows his growth and consideration.
Without them, the pacing of the story seems off and a little shallow.
It's a great story, I recommend reading this under the title Ni Jiu, even if the scans aren't the best.
