I agree, it feels more like a sibling bond as Mel described in the beginning and I think I like that their relation keeps that way to finally give a home for Dominic and I think he can turn into a human after their contract is up ?
Yeah also the fact that he mentioned that he is celibate at some point? Him being seen as a love interest feels wrong because of that too
Honestly, Dominick's affection for Mel feels platonic. I can't really imagine them being together.
She's home in the same way family is home to him. Moments where he gets mad at the other MLs feels less like jealousy and more like when your best friend hates your boyfriend kind of moment.

And honestly if it turns out Dominick's feelings are romantic I'll actually be upset :C
