I’m too lazy to go into details but basically she’s going to miscarry most of her pregnancies and the ones she does have they will be sickly and die too. She became really depressed and in the end she died. From what I heard when she was going through this the king wasn’t really there for her
Im never a huge fan when an author decides the third act is just a slow decline. Given the spoilers we've basically past the high point and all thats left is to watch a drawn out, painful descend with the end being the stories absolute low point.
Never quite sure what the goal of that structure is. At least Kafka is consistent about his "down hill from page 1" style.
I pray this is one of the stories where they write the ending different from the novel or else I might need therapy
