This story is fucking amazing. Lots of psychological stuff going on. mc is a bit edgy but he has to be (kind of) apathetic in order to be able to save Earth. He's not stupid, he knows who to recruit so the future of Earth can be secured
Selling point: bromance (mc and this dude who ends up being his closest confidant cuz he trusts mc so much after all the hardship he sees mc go thru — slowly having to lose his humanity to save as many humans as he can), no harem, no love interest, reliable male mc, decisive male mc, team-building, extreme competitiveness amongst 'the chosen ones/ a.k.a Saviours
