LITERALLY!! it was done SO poorly, and i don’t think it did their character building justice. there wasn’t enough information to support the tension between yeongwoon/seo-in and even their motivations lacked depth. but seeing the information unfold so heavily this last chapter explained everything far better than 90% of season one lmao
surprisingly the last few chapters made the characters intriguing and saved the story for me. i honestly hated the way seo-in was mainly written as a inconsiderate, selfish rapist instead of someone who copes through sex. and also how yeongwoon opened his heart so easily after what seo-in did to him. however the chapters leading up to the season finale really showcased their complexity, hidden trauma, and longing for each other way better compared to the past 20 chapters lmao??
