um hello??? yeah his feelings are valid but his actions are not, you see, he keeps giving Ilya the false hope all this time yet keep saying that Ilya don’t actually like him and shouldn’t like him, that’s audacity and hypocritical, he should just effing distance his self to them
He never gave ilya false hope, read the story againall he did was be nice, he never intended to make ilya fall in love or give him false hope. Jerry’s whole plan was to AVOID any kind of romantic route with ilya (or anyone at that) since it would end up with obsession and possessiveness. Jerry doesn’t owe Ilya feelings, don’t get me wrong i ship it 100%, but it’s not fair to shit on the MC that has a realistic mindset.
