I remember reading it years ago and I thought it was a bl and that the "feelings" were mutual, now that I've read this again I can't think of this the same AT ALL, sangwoo never "loved" bum for who he is, he never saw him as a person but an object to help him with his trauma and at the end when he actually showed that he feels NOTHING for bum and tried to kill him, that was an obvious message to all that he.
